My Name writing piece is due on Tuesday. Typed with revisions and reflections. We will share on Tuesday in small groups. You will need to hand in the rubric with your draft and your final version.
Fill in the sheet about your favorite place. We will be working with adjectives in class on Tuesday.

Write one stanza of a poem. Use an extended metaphor. Remember to consider the purpose of your metaphor. What message are you trying to convey through it?
About 5-6 lines
Think about Cohen's purpose when he wrote:
A Kite is a victim
you are sure of.....
A pencil is......why? where? when? how? what purpose does it serve you or others?
