You need to bring your first reading journal tomorrow so that we can go over it together. Use the sheet that I handed out to guide you.

a statement about life that connects to the story
not a cliche
not a moral
uses words that are inclusive such as we/us, people/they/ or one

We learned about parallel structure today. We will continue with work on it tomorrow.
Read Walter Mitty on p. 33 of the Imprints book. Answer the questions in point form
Tomorrow you will be working in groups to create a dramatic reading of one section of the story.

Your final Choices assignment is due on Wednesday.
The next group of students will read their I am from poems on Wednesday.
