For Monday
English 8
Have your good copy of your concrete poem ready. We are going to read our poems aloud on Monday. We are going to practice on Monday. We are also going to finish the trivia activity. Be ready to show your knowledge.
English 10
Try drafting the first version of your poem about your favorite activity. We will talk about formatting and about how to create a direction for your poem on Monday. We will work on editing our poems in class and we will talk about how to create good thinking questions for our lit circles.
English 12
We will need to be at the Holocaust Symposium by 8:45 at the latest on Wednesday. You will need to plan accordingly. There is parking below. There are designated spots.
I will hand out the plan for the day so that you have an idea of what we will be doing. I will need to finalize rides on Monday.
You should have your questions ready for lit circles tomorrow. You should have read the second section of the book. We will work on our symbol assignment after discussion. We are going to have a whole class discussion tomorrow.

Happy Earth Day!π Remember that Monday is Shakespeare's birthdayπ and we will be celebrating with cake πin the main foyer. Come with a quote that you can recite for one of the teachers and we will reward you with a piece of delicious cake. Try to learn some unusual quotes! You can look them up online.
