One more day until Friday!

Today:
We worked on our revisions to the essay. Please type the final version and double space it. If you don't have computer access, you can handwrite it in blue or black ink. This should also be double spaced. Please have your papers organized for class tomorrow. I don't want to spend time in class with you looking for your papers. Who will be the student who doesn't have it organized?
 Your good copy will go on the top of the group of papers. You only need to attach 2 rubrics; I only handed out 2 of them.

Do an outline for the Phoebe/Jane writing assignment. You should try to have a  strong thesis statement.

We will work in groups tomorrow to talk about what should be included in this essay.
You will be writing an essay draft for the weekend. We will do some of the writing in class on Friday.

Tomorrow we will be talking about conflict in the novel. As you read, think about the different types of conflict you encounter.
