English 10
For tonight: write a journal about your worst test.
Tomorrow we will be working on our improvs for about 15 mins and then we will be presenting them.
Think about plans for your group tonight.
Theme is the underlying message of the story. It should be a complete thought and it is not necessarily a moral. A moral is the lesson learned from a story. Morals are found in fables and often in children's stories.
Tomorrow we are going to talk about using theme statements to start our essays.

Creative Writing
Drafts are due for tomorrow. Please be ready to share. We will have some writing time on Friday.
We will be working on our Haiku poems for display.
