During the second half, we will be doing our presentations for the Crucible.
We will begin independent reading on Monday. We will be reading the play in class and we will be working on poetry as well.

Well, we made it to the middle of the second week!
Good skits today!
Here's what you need to do for tomorrow:
Review lit terms denouement to editorial
Multiparagraph essay:
Compare and contrast Phoebe and Jane's relationship with Holden and their influence on him. Rough draft for tomorrow.
You need to read up to the end of Chapter 15.
There will be a Unit test next week. Be prepared to finish the novel over the weekend so that you are not struggling to catch up.

Okay, Summer School Students!
We made it to week one and we are still alive.
For this weekend:
Try to finish to the end of Chapter 10 in Catcher (try to be ahead of the class)
There will be a quiz on chapters 1-3 and 4-6
Fill in the reading notes for Chapters 4-6
Diction and Syntax sheet
Remember that there will be a quiz on Lit terms to denotation on Tuesday.
Try to keep up with your reading and read ahead if at all possible. You will be glad that you did.
