For the Thanksgiving weekend

I am grateful to have such wonderful students. You make every day special! Just a few things for the weekend. Enjoy your time with your family and friends.

English 8
Fabulous poems today! Finish the Calvin and Hobbes cartoon. Fill in the dialogue and then colour the boxes. Make sure you think about the choices you make. Why did you choose the colour? Was it a symbolic choice, a metaphorical choice, or did you just choose the colour randomly.

English 12
Finish the character sheet. Make sure that you have answers to the questions for Act 1. If you were away, you can get the sheet on Tuesday.

English 11H
Good work today with Remembrance Day ideas. Good insight into the quotes.
Do some brainstorming of ideas, images, thoughts, connections that you can make to the theme of this year's ceremony. How could you connect them in a poem, a song or a short narrative piece (like a letter or a diary entry or something of that nature)
Remember money and forms for the field trip to the Writers Festival. It should be a great day.
