All parts: draft, rubric, and good copy (typed) should be ready to read in class and to submit.
Remember that I am looking for correct punctuation formatting as well as storyline

You can write a paragraph if poetry is not your thing. Just make sure to connect to the thematic idea of mirror and identity.

Also, write a dialogue from the perspective of one of characters  in "No one's a Mystery"and another person. Use the punctuation sheet to guide you. You need to show that you can punctuate dialogue correctly.

Students are to bring your 2^nd draft of their found poem based on “Just Lather”.  You should have typed it. . Final typed version with rubric and image on the page is due on Tuesday.

Write a reflection about the personal  connections you made about identity or loss of identity through your reading of “What Colour is a Rose” and “Truth and Reconciliation”.  You should write about half a page. You should be showing your critical thinking skills here.

Journal writing

Consider how point of view affects the storyline. How would the story change if the narrator changed?

Point of view journal writing assignment:

1. Imagine that you are the police officer. Narrate the sequence of events from his point of view. What was he thinking or feeling?  Put the reader in the scene with him.

2. Imagine that you are one of the kids that the man was worried about. What did he think or feel? Describe the scene from his or her point of view.

3. Imagine that you are the wife who has been left. Describe the day and the sequence of events from her point of view. How does she come to know about what has happened?
