Read Walter Mitty on p. 33 of the Imprints book. Answer the questions in point form
Tomorrow you will be working in groups to create a dramatic reading of one section of the story.

You must write 5 journal reflections of a page to a page and a half. Typed is best/Blue or Black Pen
You must define 20 words and use them in a sentence. My preference is that you write a sentence that is related to the story.

Revise the story from Identities. Good copy typed or hand written in pen double spaced for easier reading. Hand in rubric, rough draft and good copy. Please note what changes you are making to your final version.
If you didn't get your poem finished for today, it is due tomorrow. Not done, you are in to finish it after school.

We are going to the library to choose an independent novel for reading on Tuesday next week.

Revise your section of the poem. Bring pictures or work together in some fashion to create a unified poem.
Good copy is due on Monday. Some lovely, lovely poems were presented today.
Do the definitions from the story and write them in a sentence related to the story.
Highlight examples of foreshadowing etc (second question) and be prepared to discuss them in class tomorrow.
Lit terms test on Monday. Up to atmosphere. The test will be matching on Monday.

English 11
Work on revisions to draft of poem. Good copy is due on Monday. Good beginnings, I can tell. Try to use imagery and metaphor to make your poem richer and more unique.
Look up words from the story The Charmer. Under 5 write sentences with the words. Over 5, provide the definition. We will go over them tomorrow in class. We will come up with a class list of words for the story.
Question 1 p. 109. 2 columns and evidence from the story. You don't need to draw anything at the moment.
