Day Three of Summer School

One more day to go and you have made it through one week. Good for you folks!
For tomorrow:
Good copy of your I am from poem. Typed. Attach your rough draft. Make a note of what you have changed and why.
Tomorrow I will collect your persuasive paragraph. Don't worry about making it perfect. I am just going to read it and give you feedback.
Read chapters 1-2 in Catcher in the Rye. You can always refer to Sparksnotes or Schmoop to help you if you don't understand.

Also read the sheet on JD Salinger and answer the questions.

The next lit terms quiz is on Monday. It will be up to characterization.

There will be a quiz on chapters 1-3 on Monday. Then there will be a quiz on chapters 4-5 on Tuesday. Lit terms on Wednesday and on we go.  We will do 2 other short stories when we have finished the novel.  This will be in part 2 of the class.
