For Monday:
define turnpike , to loom, extrapolate/write them in a sentence that is related to the story.

Look over the questions for TEST. We will discuss on Monday.

Write a paragraph in which you compare the movie, "Harrison Bergeron" to the short story. Which one do you believe was better?

You should have made a list of similarities and differences. Your paragraph:
1. Theme statement
2. Thesis statement (what is your point of view) Here you may use "I" because it is a personal reflection
3. 3 Points/evidence/explanation or elaboration
4. Conclusion

Make sure that your paragraph is well developed.

If you missed the movie, you can watch it on Monday at lunch or on Tuesday.

Reading journal is due for Tuesday. Bring your silent reading books for Tuesday as well.

Creative Writing
Novel journals for Tuesday.

Draft of music story/poem is due for Tuesday.
 I will be conferencing with each of you about what changes you have made and what progress you have made on your story.
We will finish our interviews on Monday.

Bring a picture on Monday. You may bring one on your phone, or rip one out of a magazine.
