English 12

Finish the questions for The Lottery for tomorrow. We will begin reading Night, a personal memoir about one man's experiences during the holocaust, on Wednesday. Think about connections between this book and the story that we have just read.

English 11
There is a field trip to Bard on the Beach tomorrow. If you are not attending, please go to the library to do work.

Write a response to the Ted talk on cultural appropriation that we watched today. You should write/type about 3/4 of a page. This is due on Wednesday. Remember to support your arguments. Don't just make a statement and think that it is enough.

English 10
You are going to the library tomorrow. You are going to pick out a novel or a non-fiction book to read. You will have the rest of the class to read. You will need to write 2 journal entries of at least half a page. I will collect the journal entries. Remember that the objective of the entry is to show your thinking: your ability to draw connections and to see relationships between things. Show your thinking.
